Linda,
My heart goes out to you...I seem to remember having similar types of
experiences...though I doubt as complex and strong as yours. So I may
have a small, very small sense of what this is like for you. I admire
your honesty and openess - a LOT!
As I was reading and learning about Emotrance, one point that I really
enjoyed a lot (because it gave me so much confidence and seemed to make
things so much simpler) - was the notion that we just follow the energy.
Starting with where and how we feel it, and continue to process (that
part isn't QUITE so simple)!
And we end up doing it in the right order, can't avoid doing that...by
letting the process lead us.
Yesterday I was helping someone with another process...and it seemed to
be going nowhere, and to be going on and on and on. I began to actually
wonder if we'd ever come to completion, if it would ever end. Then I
remembered to "trust the process" and to follow it. Which I did. After a
while, we came to a good conclusion, and all the previous efforts made,
by hindsight, a lot of sense.
I'm hoping, because I really don't know what else to suggest or
offer...that by trusting and following the process - that you can have a
similar experience. After a while. Even if it takes a while and seems
like forever.
That's the most useful thing to do that I know of...and when I've been in
situations where I experienced my own processes as seemingly endless, or
the process of someone else - this approach, when I've remembered it,
always has helped. Thank heavens! Because what I had been experiencing
before hand was no darn fun!
My heart and prayers go out to you with a strong intention to support and
encourage. With a hope that trusting and following the process you are
experiencing will actually help you find your way to a useful, healing
and enjoyable resolution. Because with even only a small hint or taste
of what it might be like for you, now...it just makes my heart want to
reach out. (I sure wish I had more to offer!)
Peace and well being,
-David Burnet
