Briefly, I turn the usual cognitive paradigm on its head with an
approach to psychotherapy that STARTS with spiritual energy
and emotional balance based on Energy Therapy methods.
Clearer thinking is a CONSEQUENCE of balancing these
underlying energies.

This "reversed" paradigm occurred to me some years ago
based on the neurobiology research of Anthony DaMasio
(see his first book "DesCartes Error"), the research of Benjamin
Libet (from the early 1970's), and my first encounter with TFT/EFT.

Since institutional psychology simply cannot understand that
insanity can't be treated with sanity, illogic cannot be addressed with logic.......
they just don't get it. They never thought that TRANS-rational methods
could exist, even though Carl Jung clearly pointed the way 80 years ago
and AA's "spiritual solution" (partly derived from Jung and NOTHING to
do with religion) has successfully treated MILLIONS of case studies in
the "cognitively-intractable" alcoholic over the past 70 years!

Cognitive psychologists engage in a "thinking" conversation with their
client and just pay lip service to the underlying levels of emotional
and spiritual conversation.

We are so lucky to be able to directly engage in all three levels of
conversation with ET....... hence our spectacular results.
AA's sharing of "experience, strength and hope"
does the same thing at the three levels, where one finds that one's
own spiritual energy is released to properly "fuel" the whole psyche....
albeit the process of change being perhaps a bit slower.
