One reason that you find Ghost hands more helpful might be that you hit the energetic block in the "aura" and by releasing this the "physical" block dissolves simultaneously. The more energy you can get to your hand the better effect. However I have found that directly contact from the hand with block inside the body is also very effective, but this requires good sensing/palpation skill.

You may be right.
On the other hand, since the time I started doing hands-on work some thirty years ago, clients have complained about lots of things, but very rarely about my lack of palpation-skills.
And working in the aura with ghost-hands seems to work better for me than using "my real hands"...
Go figure.
Maybe it has to do with my awareness being more free, when I let ghost-hands do the job?
