LOL. Yeah I saw something like that ... :-)

Good god, don't apologise! Finally someone speaks up on this list!
Hallelujah, is all I can say to that!

Emotions are energy system occurrences which produce physical states and
localised sensations, or all over states. I don't make a distinction
between the so called positive and negative emotions; in fact it was my
work with the Guiding Stars (anti-traumas) which unlocked that whole deal.

As I see it, energy movements aren't a problem. As long as they don't
get stuck, that is. I guess if someone's permanently stuck in a state of
happiness, regardless of whether this is an appropriate response to the
environment, that's also not very useful. Manic, don't they call it that?

There are a number of strange things about this emotion/energy thing.

For example, the sensations that one experiences during an ET session
are very difficult to describe - they are new. People say they feel
electric, or buzzing, or sharper and brighter, sometimes faster - so
what's that? Is that "happy"? Or something else altogether?

I ET'd a fear response to a big spider some time ago and ended up with a
whooshing fast energy state that made me laugh out aloud and shout to
the spider, "Come on, let's do it again! That was amazing!"

There are definitely a HUGE array of emotions/states we haven't even
exerienced yet, of all sorts of flavours.

Perhaps it's best to really not think in terms of positive or negative
emotions at all, but just in terms of energy movements, and to look
forward to experiencing new ones.

Which reminds me of one of those really important learnings we've had
along the way:

If the EMOTION is the SAME, but the situation is DIFFERENT, you're not
responding to what's here and now, but just re-running an old energetic
injury.

Like, if the husband says something and the emotion is EXACTLY the same
as when daddy said something 46 years ago, we're not dealing with a
current event but an echo - and that's a very important distinction.

It's just the same with "positive" emotions.

If eating an icecream now produces emotions of happiness that are THE
SAME as the emotion first experienced 29 years ago on the beach with
mummy, then something's gone massively wrong somewhere along the line
and even though it feels "good", it's just an echo, an anomaly and in
fact, a real problem.

That's the key - relevancy to the actual experienced environment.

Theoretically, there should NEVER be any two experiences that are
exactly the same because that's impossible (no two environments nor the
experiencer can be the same, spatially and temporarily alike).

It's a fascinating thing ...
