Ok, that's a good question. I pondered and the reply was, when you
feel you've learned what you needed to learn.

The word, FEEL is interesting there. You could use KNOW if you
wanted to - it's like a mini-enlightenment experience, a real,
AHA! THAT's what it was about, NOW I understand THAT bit!!

Remember that PS is an installation masking as a set of how to
techniques, so things will turn up one way or the other.

How, for example, would anyone get "the idea" that they needed a
fountain just there, right in front of those two birch trees?

Try going at it with the mindset of, "There is SOMETHING for me to
learn here - I just don't know what it is just yet ..."

Also, when you have even a rudimentary beginning puzzle such as,
"What's with those DOLLS?????!!!" you can apply EFT, ET,
ThoughtFlow, TAT, the Melville Pattern, Genius Head, mapping, free
association - any and all problem solving techniques you've ever
heard of to help move it along.

PS is all about moving things along. Which is very ET, if you
think of it :-)
