Hi all,
Just to add my two penn'orth to this flow here. I find a very different feel to doing ET and EFT. I also switch between, just as the spirit moves and am so grateful that I have a choice but one aspect I like about ET, which I don't think has been acknowledged so far, is that as it is non-verbal it seems like one flowing process which requires no intellectual effort. I do recognise what someone else called the effortiness of ET but it isn't an intellectual effort, is it? And sometimes it surely does feel like - I'm tired of me working on this, I'm switching to EFT so that EFT can do it instead :-))
But what I mean by the one flow is:-
With EFT because of the verbal nature of the approach (and I know you can work with images or anything but mostly it's word based) there is a strong awareness of how many aspects and layers a thing has. As you move from one set-up to another it sometimes seems this is going to be endless and there aren't even the right words to just get to the spot. So, on occasion, I am overwhelmed before I begin. It is at times like that I feel it's all too difficult. Now that I have ET as a choice I would just use that instead. Then it's like - Christ I'm just not capable of making EFT work here 'cos I don't know what the words are, I don't even know what the problem is, if I try to narrow it down there's a whole page of it and life is absolutely too short to tap hour upon hour cos now I'm beginning to feel this problem surely has more energy than I do and I'm gonna be the loser in this contest............. However I can at least identify a feeling, that's simple and if I just work with that and any others that come up I
won't be overwhelmed by aspects cos they only feel like feelings not problems.
Also some issues present themselves with their 'treatment' already chosen, don't they? On some occasions the issue presents as thoughts with lots of words that accurately describe the problem and on others your body is hit by an energy response as soon as the issue comes to mind. It's really good to have the two choices - and, as has been said already, to mix and match.

Blessings

Linda

  Hi Glenn,

I often switch around between them, its natural. I remember Gaura
saying about doing an ET session and the lady in question had the
energy move up from her chest, down her arm but then it got "stuck
in her little finger". Gaura remembered the EFT point and told her
to tap on it - upon which it all shot out and the client regarded
  her as a magician!

ET works with energy body in general and doesn't care or ask if
there's a meridian involved. Well, when isn't there? Either
secondarily as a repercussion or as a straight root cause, there
  is always an enmeshment.

I do believe I've even tapped for, "Even though I cannot let go of
this snowglobe" so I could hand it over.

I have also tapped (or "percussed") on all sorts of places where
there isn't an EFT point but where something got stuck in an ET
process; many more times touched, massaged or rubbed it physically
  to help dissolve something.

  Here is something though.

  ET takes attention and intention.

In my personal cases with the snowglobe and yesterday at the
studio, I was holding something in mind already and didn't want to
lose it - and thus went for EFT because it doesn't require to "go
somewhere else" but unblocks things in the moment.

Especially with the studio one, I really didn't want some sort of
epiphanic shift at that time because I still had 4 hypnodreams to
go, and you all know what can happen with EmoTrance, where it
  takes you and how deep.

Even more especially in context of the thing which caused me to
cry, it was a massive affair.

Now you might think, damn, Silvia, you missed a godsent
opportunity to really put something fundamentally to rights which
presented itself and what were you thinking putting a *recording
  schedule* ahead of self actualisation/healing????

And I guess you might be right to think that. As I said, we have
to be gentle with ourselves. If I'm still at a stage where I
really believe that a recording schedule is more important than
Even Flow, than that too is as it is.

So what? go with the flow, I'd say. We've had enough heartache and
hassle and misery, we don't need any more and least of all, from
  our own selves.

Go with your intuition as to when to tap or when to do something
else, or even to choose to sit there and bawl your eyes out and
allow yourself to really experience whatever it is that frightens
you or makes you sad WITHOUT having to immediately put the lid on
it again or make it better or feel like a failure because you're
not enlightened enough to laugh it all off yet.

  Easy does it.
