Here's another thing I found:

I tried this pattern with a craving. And it just didn't seem to work, at first.

Until I realized that my skull (thick as it can be!) functioned as a shield that stopped the thought of this craving from leaving...

The shield work did its job nicely, once I discovered that that's what needed to happen first.
And all the time my hands were waiting, too, inviting "the thought to come out". This inviting also seemed important.

It seems like now the "energy of craving" is still available somewhere, but not obsessed anymore with that particular form. It's more a general feeling of "go for it!".

If it works somewhat like this, I would be VERY pleased... Even if it has to be repeated many times - the process itself feels so good, already, and maybe that's what counts above all.
