<<I had the very strong impression of, speaking as an energetic occurrence here, what seemed to be a vortex system, drawing in massive amounts of energy that really didn't have anywhere to go and as it builds up, then really drives down into channels which probably are not at all the right ones for that energy, hence the pain spreads from the original seed into the whole head, then down into the face and neck and so on.
How does a vortex happen in the first place? Because something is draining out somewhere which makes this funnelly circular drawing system. So I could speculate that this headache energy vortex is caused in the first place by a leakage somewhere that starts it all off.>>
Hi Silvia
>From the above I get a sense that a vortex is in some ways the polar opposite of a shield.
Does that make any sense to you (and other list-members)?
If so, what could that imply for our handling of these dynamics?
One possibility could be for instance that, when there is an unmanageable vortex, it could be helpful to first *create* a shield (something that I have found helpful in other cases of overwhelm). And then work with this shield in the standard way.
In the example you gave, it would be: create a shield between you and the persons around you who seemed to pull at you in a way that almost tore you apart (sorry this is just my metaphor, no truth-claims here!).
