Hi everyone. I'm really glad to have found this group.
I am hoping for practical insights on finding the exit point when doing ET for myself.
I am a person who has lived with PTSD symptoms for some 20 and more years and have had relief but a somewhat hit and miss experience with ET self-help. Recently I learned the difference between following the sensation of the energy flow versus using my imagination to sort of push a sensation of energy away from or through myself (what I was doing previously.) This new-for-me insight has led to a breakthrough in my ability to use ET, but I still have a hard time consistently finding a path for the energy of an erea to travel. When I do it's great but so often it's a slow draw out excruciating process and often I find that I can get things moving but then can almost never find the exit point and end up feeling worse off then when I started. I keep trying because I just KNOW that this stuff can help me.
I hope this makes some sense and I will appreciate any insights and/or suggestions whatsoever.
P.S. I have had success with the heart of energy method, but I am really eager at this point to also learn about the usual ET process for releasing an energy.
