I just saw an episode of Supernanny where her tip of the day was to have
children take a bath before bedtime to help them "release the rest of
the energy" and sleep well.
I thought, ah! AHA!
That might be a nice idea for an EmoTrance bedtime (for adults!) adaptation.
So one might, upon turning off the lights and going to sleep, spend a
moment or two releasing all pent up energies from the day, anything you
don't want to take into the night with you, be it an argument with the
boss, immense tiredness, or worries about the next day, or whatever
"doesn't belong" and you would better off without it.
Apart from probably being quite influential on dreaming and sleeping in
general, it's also excellent ET practice and I might think a real long
term prophylactic that can help protect the future.
