Hi Silvia and Sandra thank you so much for clarifying this again. The word 'structural' is so useful to remember. Yes, yes, it feels so right. And thank you Susan for raising the question. I came across this only today with a little group and I was able to remind them that 'It's only energy'.

Thank you so much,

xxx+ Margarita

  Hi Susann,

  interesting questions.

The whole idea of "cutting the ties that bind us" sounds so wonderful to a person who is suffering from these kinds of connections. It sounds like "cutting out the cancer" - yes, please, oh yes, do this right away! It would be gone and I'd feel so much better!!!

But energetic matters are a billion times more complicated than "if thy eye offends thee, cut it out".

What is at the end of these energetic ties?

There are systems there, often incredibly important systems, which is why the impact is so great on the person who have these "ties that bind them".

It helps to remember that these things are ties, they are flows; energy flows. Something happened to these flows that they became different, seemingly "harder" and that's always our sign that there's something stuck and not flowing as it should.

That goes straight to Sandra's "loving the unlovable".

With "hideous ties" to abusers, rapists, torturers and such, it is particularly important to stay very, VERY structural when working with it - this is not a "tie to your rapist" or an "umbilical chord to your torturer" but ONLY AN ENERGY.

As soon as you got that straight in your mind as the practitioner, and you manage to transmit that to the person you're working with, we're right back to the practical questions of "where does that need to go?" and "what needs to be healed or adjusted so it can can go there?"

That always finds a solution, or at least a movement TOWARDS an evolution. Either of which are good work by the practitioner.

In a way, this is a great demonstration again WHY we don't use metaphors in EmoTrance. If you can stay totally structural, it really matters not what kind of energy form it is, where it originates, whether it is inside or outside of the body, or even which layer of the energy system this belongs to.

As it is energy, it needs to flow and it has somewhere where it belongs, where it needs to flow to.

The best part about it is that we do NOT KNOW - we need to find out.

Every ET session is in essence an exploration that we undertake together with the client.

If they can feel the energy, they can tell us the "tides" of that energy, or where it needs to go. We clear the path to that, inside or outside the body and let the energy go there. We remove shields and blockages, heal ereas to re-establish flow in the system.

That is all really, really easy - but ONLY if you remember to forget all the metaphors, all the memories of abuse, or the faces of the abusers, and focus TOTALLY on the *structure* of what is happening with the energy flows.

THAT is the challenge of EmoTrance - if we as the practitioners can just REMEMBER that it is ONLY ENERGY we are dealing with, we're fine.

At any point we forget that and start thinking about ropes, chains, ties, dungeons or evil demonic spirits hovering around a person, we are out of the zone where we are in charge and can make changes at will.

We experience "magic failure" as we call it in PS in that instant, and through us, of course the client experiences it too. Then we're back in woo-woo land where all is scary and out of control, and we remain there until we REMEMBER that it is only an energy once more.

As soon as we do, it all comes back online and we really CAN change the client's energy system, create threshold shifts and bring them and us an energized end state to know we've done amazing work today.

  It's really a fascinating process.
