in one milli-second, leaving you totally revitalised and clear as
anything, ready for action, but no screaming, shouting, red face -
nothing. It's like an instant lightning strike. Very refreshing,
actually. And you don't come out wanting to kill anybody on the other

Thanks SFX
Your post underlines for me the absolutely user-friendly basis for any
change-work. I'm new to ET (EFT-trained) and have weekly sessions
(Community Nurse-NHS) with a self-hating 21yr woman (multiple cutting,
OD's)who is suspicious of services and is surviving (just) on a diet
of blame towards all in the care team. We have had one experience of
ET and she successfully softened an anger experience on a impulsive
suggestion from myslef to try something new. I am tentively hoping
that we might begin some gentle work with ET (she rejected self-help
EFT and wouldn't tap in session). I'm not sure where to begin. She has
abuse issues, and sees a counsellor weekly for this. She has a
diagnosis of personality disorder (unhelpful), and I believe she is as
fearful of change as she is stuck in her own self-loathing.
Sorry that this has gone on a bit. I'm not sure if this is the right
forum, so apologises if this content is outside the groups remit.
many thanks
Simon.
