Energy can move in any direction and the only restrictions it has in
its movement is when it is stuck.

All energy movement feels good, whether it is up and down, across, or
spiralling around the body before it leaves.

One thing though, we do not push energy when we do EmoTrance.

We use our intention to encourage the energy to flow and never
consciously try and determine or influence where it will go. We
simply observe, using encouragement all the way, until it exits the
body.

When we start forcing energy to go somewhere we are back in the
realms of inflicting someone else's idea of what our energy system
should be like on ourselves. A chinese peasant five thousand years
ago has a very different energy system from a 50 year old woman in
the 21st century.

In EmoTrance we respect everyone's energy system and we work with it,
not against it, and when we do this we are rewarded with huge
personal shifts and extraordinary levels of joy and lightness of spirit.
