Well, I'm very happy to report that I was completely at ease with the gentleman, I felt calm, perfectly in control, and still with this very pleasant mild curiosity about everything.
I got no bad vibes off him, understood what he was explaining, learned some new things and at one point, had a fun psychic experience as well.
He said that he would have to change the size of the gas pipe running from the meter to the new boiler in order to ... "Improve flow volume", I finished the sentence off for him, repeating the words I had just heard in my head.
He was completely astonished by me knowing this, visibly taken aback. I thought that was extremely funny. I get these bits of information delivered to me every so often in the context of people's decased loved ones and the like, but I had no idea that system would work for plumbing issues. Well, perhaps it's just plain mind reading, or I unknowingly absorbed it by immersion from Mr Holmes on the TV - who knows.
At any rate, today I actually went out and looked at some kitchens, queried the staff at the showroom in detail about the fitting process and the work that needs to be done beforehand, and enjoyed filling in further blanks in my developing map in a very orderly and pleasant way.
EmoTrance is an interesting thing. Definitely way too interesting to leave in a therapist's office!
