... This is a widespread belief... No pain, no pleasure.
I don't see any reason for that.
Except for contrast, but if you need that, there are a trillion
different kinds of pleasure you can contrast.

All this is apart from the fact that I suspect that if our energy 
system is in great condition, pain is just another experience, not a 
problem.
