Another synchronicity:
I had been thinking about when a few months ago I raised the prices
in my business slightly too much, how the sales dropped disastrously.
I had to scale down the price hike to half, and even so profits only
stayed around level on average.

And now I just came across this line:

We just have to live with the fact that the public is king, no matter
if we agree with their perceptions or not.
