Hi Silvia,
Are you thinking of closing out the group? I certainly hope that is not the
case. I so enjoy you, your creativity, your profound mind, spirit, and soul
The connection would be so lost. Do carry on, please!
Sasha

Hello Liz,

I'm not a hundred percent sure what to do with the Yahoogroups at this
juncture. I can leave it as it is and just pass it over to an admin, but
I'm not happy with how the egroups have developed as a trend since 1996.
What we might do is to go to a single centralised on line web based
forum (which can also send out email alerts when someone responds to
your post), with sub-sections for ET, PS, EFT, ETC and so forth.

I personally still like the way things come as emails into my inbox and
I can just hit "reply" and post back; however, me and about two other
people on this planet seem to be the only ones who are moved to do such
a thing and that's just not worth it for the amount of time and effort
in managing all these groups is concerned.

The other thing I really do NOT like about the yahoogroups is that they
are indexed so badly and virtually unsearchable; there are brilliant
posts in the archives of all the yahoogroups that would be very valuable
for newbies now and in the future, but they're just GONE to all intents
and purposes.

Online forums are just so much better at storing the data and making it
actually AVAILABLE to everyone who browses the forum, keeping
interesting threads alive for longer and being in every way far more useful.

Something else that I'd like to see is that people can get more cross
contextural. With an online single site hosting a range of forums,
you'll eventually get EmoTrance people starting to wonder what the
Project Sanctuary people are talking about - and vice versa.

As it stands with the yahoogroups, ne'er the (more than) twain do meet
and it's all far to compartmentualised for my liking.

I'm going to try and set that in motion before Gatwick. Wish me luck!
