No. We do not put up shields but instead remove them. We allow the
energy in and then let it flow out where it wants to flow out.
I have heard a lot of metaphysical people talk of putting up shields for
psychic protection. To me, this puts out fear which then attracts the
negative to them. It has made me afraid in the past of developing my
psychic ability.

There's also this other thing.
People who are afraid of being bullied ALWAYS are the ones who are
bullied.
There's a match between victim and perpetrator energies, like these
molecules that snap on to each other because they have the matching
opposite locking ports.
A lot of fear and even the shielding itself attracts things like moths
to flames.
Which also reminds me that "psychic invisibility" is when all things
just pass straight through - a neat concept :-)
