How to start?

Hi folks,

Newbie here. I've done energy work (Qigong, shamanic work, Huna,
etc.) but have just recently begun with EFT and now am eager to learn
ET. I'm dealing with chronic health issues that are quite broad in
scope, so ET is very appealing. Problem is, I can't afford the book
right now.

Is it possible to get started correctly without doing extensive
reading? I generally like to get a good theoretical background with
any new system, but in this case the higher priority is to be able to
plunge in with the practical application. And if I could do the
latter cheaply, all the better :-)
