Hi, I'm a newbie to Emotrance but I've been using EFT/BSFF for a
couple of years.
I've finished reading Oceans of Energy (I was mighty impressed!) and
have gone through all the postings on the Emotrance2 and Starfields
forums and have now started the ET technique on myself. Having
started with Brandon Bays' Journey process, then EFT/BSFF, I've
shifted a lot of "energy" from my past and have made fantastic
progress over the last couple of years. However, I've done Inner
Child work (thank you Joan Sotkin/BSFF for starting me down that
road) and there's still work to be done there, and the above
techniques are either not getting to the root of the problem or they
would potentially take forever to get there...so, ET seems the
perfect way to help this along.

I tried writing a list of things down, stuff said in the past that
hurt me but I can't get a real physical feeling about these
statements.
I tried music and listening to Joan's Inner Child CD again, and it
certainly resonates a lot better but I then get other problems from
this. Firstly, I can feel the energy in different parts of my body
but...
a) The overall emotion is too intense so i focus on where the energy
is, but it's all over!! I tried Silvia's Proxy technique for my
inner child but no definite place to start. Also tried to say the
words out loud.
b) I don't have the feeling that the "energy has left the building"!
c) Since I don't have the "energised end state" feeling that Silvia
spoke about afterwards I know there's more work to do.

This leads me to several questions if anyone can help me?? These
kind of build upon what Nicola/kitt1katt/LHR have been discussing
over the last few posts:
1) What do you do if the energy is all over your body? How do you
know if its left? Mine seems to be flowing all over like a tasmanian
devil caught in a cage!!!
2) If I don't have that "energised end state" feeling what should I
do next?
3) Am I using subject matter that is too broad/generic? EFT always
taught me to be specific but I can't get worked up about my written
ET statements.
4) I'm wondering if it's possible that shields can stop energy
exiting the body as well as entering it?
5) Can I use ET on a body pain/discomfort, even if you don't know
what emotion is causing that pain? eg I get back pains under stress.

By the way, its given me some great setup statements for EFT work,
but I don't want to just use it for that. I would rather use ET to
move all this stuff on.
I know I need to see an ET practitioner directly but I always seem
to benefit from working out a process in my head and how it can work
for me, and then going to see someone to really accelerate the whole
thing.

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Thanks in advance
Mungo
