Hi all,
This prompted the following train of thought.
First, it reminds me of the much quoted notion "We create our reality".
Then, and prompted by other threads about beliefs, I was reminded of the
system called Avatar.
Avatar holds, in a very thorough-going sort of way, that our beliefs do
indeed create our reality, not in some metaphorical "Well, okay perhaps
your beliefs are just filters" way, but in an absolute * beliefs * *
create * * reality* way.
The trouble is, we often don't know exactly what beliefs underly the way we
have created things.
So, Mr Avatar founder says, how can we change things [if we want to]? Well,
we can look at the reality that we have created, that surrounds us, and ask
"What beliefs would a person need to have, to create This?". Then list a
whole bunch of beliefs that, if actualised, would manifest in This. A
kind of brainstorm - list all beliefs you can think of, familiar,
unfamiliar, bizarre, unreasonable, funny, absurd etc etc ones. Then go
through them, and see which one(s) resonate for you - and you may discover
one or more that it's never occurred to you might apply to you, that you
may not even have thought of before as even being believable, but you may
sense it's relevant to you.
And, for this ET group, I guess that might be where you start ET'ing...
regards,
Marcus W.
