The *country* of the Lemonade Factory Empires ... it's beginning
to look that way <g>
It is becoming quite clear to me just *why* I have always rejected
the notion of "continuing to chop wood and carry water" after
"enlightenment".
Clearly, there are certain ones amongst us (and including me) who
haven't even started to chop wood yet!!!
If we were to take that !"£$%!!!!! "wood chopping" metaphor as a
description or short cut label for "your life" which would include
certain activities pertaining to same, that would neatly tie it
all together and I then no longer have an argument with the
phrase:
Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.
After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.
Indeed, framed like that, I look forward to a bit of honest
chopping. Should be fun, enlightenment or not!
