Hi lightwalker, Well done you! Dealing so well with "family altercation". Your post is beautifully syncronistic for me. I too am going through just such a situation and although my family are not born again (I do have an old school friend on that path) I too am the 'new-age-metaphysical-crystal-using-tapping-Earth Honouring-Druid-etc-etc type! So far I think you are doing better than I at dealing with the emotions. I am not yet familiar with ET but am tapping furiously. Bright Blessings Barbara

  I was given a gift this weekend of an altercation with my youngest
  sister.....finally after all these years. I was amazed to learn this
  from her "you...this and you...that" and a litany of things from her
  childhood on up to now. Because I am still new to ET and the
  emotions were tumultuous for me I allowed myself to grieve, tapped,
  and then when I had calmed down enough I used the ET on my self. I
  used my dear friends to talk it out (and ET) and within 12 hours
  there was no "monkey mind" on what was said. I am so delighted with
  this and myself. My compassion for my little sister just expanded. I
  had no idea that she harbored so much after all these years. I have
  always regretted not having a relationship with her that was of
  ease. To give you a little background....she is a born-again-
  christian (of which I have 4 siblings who are born-again)and I
  am 'new-age-metaphysical-crystal-using-tapping-etc,etc,'. Get the
  picture!

  The interesting thing for me is that the same type of basic core
  issue comes up....'you are not good enough. you are bad' etc. I look
  at these core statements in a new unit of time, each time, when they
  come up and am finding them in the same body place at first and then
  it will go to another area and leave in a different way. These core
  issues do not have the impact,obviously, that they did years ago. I
  have worked hard for my joy.

  I find it very interesting that this situation finally came to a
  head just as I am learning a new self-empowerment tool.
