Hi Timur,

I'm new to ET having recently bought the manual but am enjoying it a lot.
My idea you may like to try is to become quite still while you are doing ET
and see what happens. It can be anather way of supporting your awareness to
attend inwardly to the energy as physical movements are minimised. Allowing
your body to become more and more still as you attend to whetever sensations
may be present in a given time or context. If you can get a good sensce of
sensation expressed any way at all in your body, then use your intention and
soften and flow the energy. If this works for you, you can continue to let
your body be calm and still so as to keep your attention undistracted, or
you can allow movement to come forth and assist you in the process. If this
works then as you gain in your ability to attend to the sensations and
softening and flowing then you may soon be able to do it with greater and
greater movemnt and so on at the same time as an enhancement rather than an
distraction in your doing ET.

A couple other ideas are, before you start ET you may ask your body to make
the sensations evident and obviouse to you. Any suggestions you give your
body that what you will be doing is safe and so on may assist also.

You may also find just the smallest area of sensation and allow the ET to
take place in a very small scale and consider that to be a success. Then,
having done that successfully, however small the scale, you may do it again
with the same or with a new 'topic,' sensation at ever so slightly bigger a
scale. And then likewise again. If this strategy works it will probably
educate your system to work at a regular scale level thereafter.

If further ideas are called for you may practice something like progressive
relaxation which may support other levels of body-systems awareness.

Good Luck. I'll be curious to know your experiences.

Steve
