Hi, I'd like to comment on this ....

is, still needs a bridge.

I just ran a one day workshop ET with 19 people this weekend, most of which had no previous knowledge of Energy psychology at all, and pretty much all of them managed to locate energy, move it through and help someone else do it .... no problems at all. ET being a simpler and more natural concept, I think it can stand alone.

However, having said that, in practicing ET I find my knowledge of EFT very useful to step in with a set up statement when things seem to get stuck or to take over tapping while the client just keeps their attention on the energy, if their concentration starts flagging. Sometimes I use EFT to get started when the charge isnt very strong and is difficult to locate, then when we hit on a bigger issue, sometimes I swap to ET to move it through quicker.

To me, they can both stand alone and they can both tie in very well together. But i would say my knowledge and understanding of the energy world has exploded with ET, in the last 6 months, whereas EFT only gave me clues about what was going on energetically.

EmoTrance would seriously benefit from knowledge about EFT - and vice versa.

I also agree with this, having and knowing both enhances greatly what you can acheive.
