This is what Silvia suggested in her last letter
and what I concur with.

BTW, my website (below) contains some info on
Benjamin Libet's work. Another important book on the
current research on emotions is Anthony Damasio's
"DesCartes' Error"..... and he's written two others since....
where it is very clear that emotions are an essential part
of making (cognitive) decisions. Without emotional
"colouration", the thinking process spins in circles and
choices simply cannot be made. (I sense you may
have experienced the latter!)
