It's only an energy

Dear all

I need your help with this one:

Quite a few of the persons I'm working with get turned off when I "talk energy" (especially: "it's only an energy" - I rarely speak in terms of the energy-body).
They either don't understand what I'm referring to, or are afraid that I'm "one of those charlatans".

Do you have any suggestions on how to reach these people and lead them into ET land?

One of the things that I'm doing, which can be a bit laborious, is to first help to sharpen their body-awareness, and have them describe their feelings in more detail. When they agree to this exploration, they start to use "energy" language sooner or later.
Sometimes that means that we first do some tapping (BTW, I have found that tapping top of the head, inside and outside of wrists, inside and outside of ankles usually helps better to "feel energy" than the standard EFT sequence).

Another thing that can help, when working with "insults" or "compliments", is to clarify that it is not the words themselves that create the problem, but the *charge* with which these are said. If I gently wisper with a smile "you're an idiot", this does not have the same impact as when I shout the same words at them with an angry voice.

So, clients feel immediately that it is the charge, that "is" the problem. And then: "What would it be like if you could let this charge in, through and out?"
This works OK.

But I would like to have more alternatives available.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Maarten
