Hi all,

The term self construct or construct has actually been used frequently
in the psychological literature, in particular in developmental
psychology. Daniel Hart comes to mind, as does Baltes (actually, both of
them), Bronfenbrenner, Magnusson, Brandtstädter, Lerner, Cicchetti,
among many others.

So I agree that it is an excellent addition to the EP vocabulary,
particularly because it permits new permutations of the manner in which
one visualizes the formation of negative thoughts, feelings, etc. that
in turn have had an effect on the energy body.

Subject: [ET2] New Word

As you must know by now, I'm in the habit of using strange or new
words for certain things that I feel doesn't have the right word to
describe it yet.

I even sometimes turn to transderivational morphology <g> but anyway,
here's a new word creation to replace the term "self concept" or "self
identity" and the word in question is self construct, or construct for
short.

This is important as we go on with ET in order to make a clear and
workable distinction between the naturally existing systems of the
energy body and those which have been constructed and need to be
re-engineered, de-constructed or simply removed.

Just thought I'd mention it so you can add the concept of the
construct to the growing ET dictionary.

Have a constructive day all,

Starfields
