Hi everyone, hope you all passed some happy and peaceful days over the hols.

I had a couple of interesting ET questions outside the forum and wanted to share them and my responses, to see if anoyone else would like to comment.

>From an ET Practitioner/new trainer who does healing with animals :

There are a couple of things about Emotrance, that I would like to discuss with you maybe. Things like: why does such a strong bond develop between a horse and me, when I do Emotrance with it, what exactly happens here and many questions like that. When I work with a person and do EFT, Emotrance or Reiki, and that person then feels really bad about some other thing in the future. I feel this. I don't really know what happens with me, but would like to understand more about it. This doesn't happen when I work with M4D.

My response :

I dont do alot with animals but I can understand them as spiritual beings with an energy system giving them the experience of emotions too. With ET healing is an event experienced by both parties. The practitioner is giving attention and healing intention to the client, be that person or animal, and in addition to the client releasing their blocked energy to feel better it is receiving energy. This creates good feelings towards the giver. From the healer's point of view....you are open and receiving the energy of the client. You receive and handle the energy of their emotional state. You expereince this energy according to your ability to handle it. If you dont handle it well you feel emotional pain or discomfort, if you do handle it well...you feel love compassion or joy. So this mutual flow and exchange of energy is the growing of a relationship.

ETPs are encouraged to be open connected and to love their clients, so the energy the client receives during the healing is nourishing for them, they receive alot....and so does the practitioner. That's what makes ET special.

ETP :

To help you understand....I was also feeling a bit guilty, when working with horses, because of the horses feeling so attached to me after I had done ET with them. So, after realising that, I only did ET with my own horses. I did not want to make any other person's horse feel sad, because I left them on their own again. So this is kind of a dilemma, I'm still in.

I'm also doing the Siderieus Foundations Animal Healing distant learning course. And I mainly practice with horses. A very very very interesting training too. And to be honest, sometimes I really don't know what I'm doing, but the horses change and start developing trust and become more relaxed with their owners and their environment. It would be interesting to have someone to discuss about the animals as well. So if you happen to know someone interested in working with animals, expecially horses, I'd be glad to get an information.

My reply :

Its a shame that you have decided to just do ET on your own horses. The sadness in the horses when you leave, can be released by proxy. Ask : where do I feel this horse's sadness in my body? soften and flow. where do I feel this horses 'missing me' in my body? soften and flow. Also....teach their owners how to develop this kind of relationship with their own horse, an ET training for animal owners....and the horses will enjoy more love and connection with their owners. We do cover proxy healing, how it works with cases and exercises the ET Relationships Training. You will find your own love and compassion grows even more when you do proxy work.

There are afew ETPs that work with animals now. I hope this prompts them to get in touch.

Hope that gives some new ideas to develop

Look forward to meeting you on the ET Relationships Training in Edinburgh in March.
