Thanks Detlev and Terry,
I'm very pleased with how the new forum is working - I think it looks great integrated into the theme and colours of the main site.
The search engines like google might take a couple of days to index all the thousands of posts so I thought I'd spend today installing a brand-new search system so you all can find what you are after easier and quicker:
It works in a similar way to the big players like google, yahoo etc and I have been super impressed with the results it is showing up. Rather than just matching keywords like 95% of search software, our software also matches phrases, proximity of words and also looks at similar words to what you are looking for. It only takes a fraction of a second to search through all 4,700 pages.
I've also included results from http://emotrance.com/ sister site http://emotionsandfeelings.com/ as they both have great content and introduction articles for beginners to search through.
Hopefully the new software allows everyone to find what they are looking for quicker.
I'd love to know how people get on with it before I work on it further to add a few more features I've got up my sleeve.
:)
Alex
