Robert,
I will elaborate more in a future email about villains/victims for now that
statement was about how I viewed MY situation personally then and now.

You are pretty close. What does invalid or valid mean and have to do with
anything? Pain is pain it doesn't need validation or justification. It just
is and if changing perspectives causes it to not be. There is no need for
validation or justification. The lesson to learn is "how" not "why". "Why"
hardly ever takes pain away. "How" usually does.

Where the confusion comes in is identifying content with process. Process
modulates and controls content. Perspective/process modulates and controls
feeling and emotions/content. Changing perspectives does not invalidate
pain but it can sure get rid of it.
