Fascinatingly, the so called Bio Challenge has come back to haunt
again, but this time, I am not willing to walk away from this without
resolving it.
I'm ccing this to the PS group so if it gets a bit weird, don't blame
me.
Basically, the Bio Challenge is the inability of people to write a
decent bio about themselves - this could take the form of "about me"
on a website, "about the author" on a book cover, "Why You Should Be
Training With Dr Smartass" on a brochure or even a CV submission for a
new job.
Last time around, more than a dozen very intelligent people just
failed completely to come up with something that didn't hurt to read
and quietly dropped the subject altogether. There may even be some
folk here who remember this, its a few years ago now.
We have more tools at our disposal for removing the blinkers from the
doors of perception, and these include firstly EmoTrance as you sit
down with a current pic or a mirror and start to consider the first
line following the headline of, "About Me".
You may also tap and you may also go into Sanctuary and have your bio
dictated to you by a loving copy writer who really sees clearly what's
uniquely attractive and interesting about you.
Use ET to get rid of that embarrassed, ashamed, writhing feeling and
that other one, too and then the pressure in your head and all the
rest of it as you write down good things about you.
You can even write honest things. Either way, I'd love to hear some
"About Me"s - and if you're too scared to either do this, think
there's no need to because you're just nobody (!!!) who doesn't have a
catalogue or website or anything to put their bio too or you couldn't
possibly send self praise to a public list - then DO something about
it.
I shall have a go and post mine after these interventions have been
done, and if you can find the courage to actually post an "about me"
to this list, please know that you have done some personal
development/healing work worth half a dozen expensive workshops and
you deserve a party.
