Hi Nicholas,

the only problem with that I can see is to end up thinking its the
thoughts that lead the dance, and trying to change the thoughts.
This is tricky - I think of it like trying to pull yourself out of
a swamp by your own hair.

If energy leads the dance instead, that's easy to deal with - it's
just an energy. It just needs to flow, that's all.

With thoughts, there's so much going on and it is difficult (or at
least I find it so) to keep it all from going into old feedback
loops, down large tributaries of cause-and-effect networks and all
sorts.

Somehow, focussing on the idea of energy brings the thoughts
nicely under control (for me) and creates a stabilisation effect.
When I go with the thoughts, I can get into veritable whirlpools
of madness, get quite out of control.

Just a thought.
