Hi Tom and Silvia

a lot of energy and bodyfluids had been blocked for years and that it propably woul disappear in some days.
We then cleared the fear of MS (shoulders) which surely often is another emotional shock that people get when they get the diagnose.
Next day the needles underher feet where gone.>>

<<With your ME (and most ME) client(s), there is merit in discussing how she is going to do things *differently* this time around because if she goes back to doing and being and thinking and feeling what she did before, then she'll get ME again or something worse next time.>>
***I believe this is a very wise advice.
MS patients are known to have "spontaneous remissions" which, when not used well, can lead to a further detoriation later on.
Something similar can happen to people who suddenly shed some emotional limitation; In their enthusiasm they might spend all their energy, don't listen to their real needs, ignore still existing boundaries, and relapse - maybe falling deeper even.
On a wider level: Isn't it more to the point that emotional conflict *contributes* to (rather than *causes*) physical symptoms, probably significantly so? And that clearing these blocks will *contribute* to healing.
So many other factors also can and (probably do) play a role...
In MS, what and how a person eats and drinks, for instance, also deserves thorough attention.
Some weeks ago I read a story of a previously very loving man who later in his life became paedophiliac, visiting child-porn sites, etc. The psychiatrist diagnosed that the man had always been a "latent" paedophiliac and adviced his wife to go for a divorce. The man's daughter didn't buy this and went for a second opinion. It turned out that the man had a braintumor that interfered with optimal functioning of his frontal lobes. Once the braintumor was removed, the paedophiliac tendencies evaporated instantaneously... Clearly, here something else than "energy-treatment" was indicated.
So: emotional conflict contributes to physical symptoms, and... at times the other way around!
Thank god there are some good docs around who are open for complementary approaches - and I hope the same is true for me. Especially when dealing with "physical symptoms", I want my clients to discuss our work also with their doc. This might also lead to new referrals...
And if their doc doesn't want to hear about my work, I can refer to some more openminded ones...
Maarten
