Here is something that I've been asked repeatedly.
WHY am I saying this is a "one time only" training?
Couldn't I do one in (insert country of choice) sometime next year?
Alright folks, here's the deal.
If we look back over the way I've done things all my life, there is a
pattern emerging - and that is that I just DON'T do things again.
As I'm a researcher rather than a professional trainer, there is always
THE NEXT thing that takes my fascination and that wants to be
investigated.
For me, and also for Nicola, to STOP what we are doing, to organise the
participants, venue, and most of all, ourselves and go out to do a
training, represents a major disruption in our lives AND in our work.
We don't undertake this lightly and very rarely feel that it should be
necessary.
The last time we had something on our hands that we really felt strongly
should be put down so that it is out there and the base knowledge of it
exists, at least in the participants who took part in that event, was
BeauTy T.
Those who were there know what that was.
In many ways, the techniques and experiences from BeauTy T have
everything to do with Art Solutions. It was in working with the body
image and movements that I first became aware of THOSE movements that
underly everything we humans do, where there was first a forerunner of
what was going to become Energy Dancing, and much besides.
BeauTyT was in 2004, and we haven't felt strongly enough to HAVE TO
share what we've discovered since then.
Art Solutions is a BIG deal.
But we live it, every day; and for us, this ONE training represents the
opportunity to pass on what we have learned (it takes the responsibility
of being the only people in the world who know what that is! off our
shoulders!) and to at least put down the basic principles after the fact
in writing so it is THERE for others to find in the future, should they
come looking.
There has never been another BeauTy T, and even though I might *say*
that I want to do Art Solutions trainings all over the world, when it
comes to it, my previous history tells me that I won't, and in a few
years time *might* turn out again with something else I found
particularly important, important enough to actually do a live training
for it.
I would love for nothing more than someone to come along and pick up
BeauTyT and take it on a world tour; it's an extraordinary process and
SO needed by SO many, children, men, women, old and young, ANY
civilisation, ANY religion, it would be a most amazing contribution for
someone to really get into teaching that.
Perhaps someone will come along and teach Art Solutions - the
participants are certainly going to be able to do that, or their own
version of this afterwards if they want to.
Me and Nicola - we'll go on doing what we do, and that is research,
first and foremostly.
So I am really sorry if you've written in and asked for a training in
your neighbourhood next year perhaps to say it's not likely; but as they
say, you have to do what you have to do, and for me, the NEW is what I'm
here to do, to create things that never existed at all before I came to
make them.
I hope you understand guys.
