this is a bit of a rant:

a few comments re The Secret , - no i don't agree it's so 'all that'.
useful for some, but that's my problem with it - 'for some'. great, if then the some will teach the others, the 'have nots' who don't know how to 'let go' who are of course the ones who need it most. i do feel grumpy about this. same old (if new age) story same old exclusive club. the rich get rich, them who has, gets, round up the usual suspects, 'old black joe's still picking cotton...and everybody knows....' (leonard cohen, 'everybody knows').

aussies didn't actually come up with it, commercialized it, as i understand, it's from material channeled by Hicks, see Abraham-Hicks. at least according to hicks.
