I'm back last night from my PR trip to Manchester.
The Manchester TV appearance was only short but its was interesting to be on the set watching them film as I was waiting to go on then...5 mins later and Im walking out the door !! Weird. All that way to get there for 5 minutes. The next act on was a dance group who had won some competition....again, 20 teenagers made their way into the studio from wherever they lived... in the rain....for a 3 minute dance performance and 2 mins interview then off home. All that effort and all the people involved...for 5 minutes with the Manchester breakfast audience. Its kind of strange seeing how it works from the other side of the screen !!!
The lunch radio interview was great. Ladies at Lunch on Radio Lancashire took place in Blackburn.
So off I went from Manchester city centre to Blackburn in in the rain for the next stop.
It was great fun and modelled on the 'Loose Women' tv chat show, (which my Dad keeps telling me I should apply to go on). They had a studio audience in Blackburn open for people to drop in, with audiences from 1 to 30 on some days. For our show there were 6. But it was relaxed and fun and I did managed to talk about EFT and EmoTrance and The Love Clinic and they are happy for me to go back on again later in the year.
If you missed it, I think you can listen in to the previous days show on www.bbc.co.uk/lancashire website.
Next stop was the Trafford Centre for a book signing, then the long drive home to Portsmouth.
An interesting and enjoyable experience....but now its back to real work !!
Love
Sandra :-)
