Severely disassociated people, apart from the autistics, will also have trouble with basic EmoTrance "because I don't feel anything at all ..."

...the intellectual capacity, they can at least start to *think about it* and put some cause-and-effect in their environments back in order, especially in relationship to human emotions.

I've known people who "thought about it" for two, three years and then something happened and they got it all of a sudden.

Because EmoTrance is so global, and goes so much further than symptom alleviation, it is interesting on every level and there's always the hope the lightning strike will come eventually.

So no, it's not for everyone immediately with total money back guarantee in 15 minutes for all problems, ever, but as far as therapies, techniques and theories goes, it has its merits nonetheless.

Hope that helps,

as i fell into these categories, 'dissociated' and 'think about it' (sort of like that, for 2 years), i am here to testify.
a particularly key thing in my catching on was the online ProjectSanctuary group (and that after 6 months in a very unusually good, in my vast experience, therapy group - which is based on the group therapy teachings of Irvin Yalom, here and now focus on feelings, and very good facilitators. this group helped me get much closer with my body, via my feelings. so then suddenly, i caught on to PS, and went to the o8 emotrance conference (i'd also been to the 06 one , which made more of a difference than i was able to assimilate at the time.)
ET 08 was extraordinary for me, way beyond anything i'd imagined. i felt i belonged, ( and wanted to belong) in the world, much more than i ever had. now nothing else will do, more and more obviously, and in 3 days i fly to england, from washington state, USA, to live there and to be nearer other et aficionados.
