Hi,

I have a beautiful German Shepherd Dog, who is now 14 years of age, yep,
and he still behaves like a puppy!! I too, went to dog training
classes, as I had no idea how to handle dogs, however, the trainer
worked on praise the whole time. The relationship I have with my dog
Troy is amazing. If there is tension in my household, whether we are
"shouting" at each other etc, the dog is very sensitive to our emotions
and will disappear and stay out of our way. This has been an eye
opener, sometimes we forget how we are behaving, and by looking to see
where our dear Troy is, just highlights the state that we are in.

I have learnt so much from my dog Troy, and also from my horse Elkie,
who will be 23 this year. It goes to show, that the animals we have
around us are sensitive, and emotrancing these two has been great.
