Hi Gloria and welcome

Ive been using EFT for many years and ET since Silvia launched it, so also have afew years experience of using both, and I will say that I still use both techniques, even if ET is my favourite.

Personally I have found that where EFT has reliably helped me solve problems ET does all that EFT does and so much more.
With EmoTrance I have learned about my energy body and how I function as a spiritual being in relation to my environment; how I handle the energies of life. It really has taught me alot and, continues to do so. ET is much more than a technique; its also a philosophy and way of life observing and experiencing energy flow.

I have found ET to be more versatile and easily integratable into other therapies. Instead of doing EFT before or after another therapy, you can do ET within the same therapy, which is nice. Also, its so simple and easy to work with, you can do it in the moment when life is happening, invisibly to everyone else, whereas you might not start tapping in public so easily or while giving a presentation. And you can assist another in a cafe or on airplane, as you can guide them to focus their intention, and no-one else need know about it. Having said that I have also been seen tapping on an anxious traveller in an airport departure lounge, so the public spectacle never bothered me that much !! :-)

Also ET allows you not only to release 'a problem' but to transfrm that experience into something so much more energising and strengthening. It brings a new concept of energy nutrition which opens up new avenues for exploration and learning.

The times when EFT still comes in useful for me are when the client cant easily locate the body sensations accompanying their emotions, for various reasons, though its ET that teaches you the understanding of why that might be ! Also, some people still feel more comfortable 'doing a tangible technique' to get a result as opposed to simply noticing where the energy is located and thinking of the outcome they want, that it softens and flows. That it can be so easy is sometimes difficult for people to accept.

On a personal note, having started out personally in healing modalities using herbs and diet and physical therapies, EFT was a great step for working with emotions, releasing emotional energy. What ET has brought is the next step from there, the functioning of the spirit and what emotions are in relation to that, and how we relate to each other in terms of energy flow and energy nutrition, and how we are designed to live, the mind-body connection, and gives us still an open path for yet further exploration and adventure in working now purely with energy.

Together, EFT and EmoTrance make an excellent toolkit for handling and navigating the waves of life and for personal growth for ourselves and for our clients.

Hope that helps in some way

By the way, I am planning some USA EmoTrance trainings, look out for my next post with news about that.
