help in emotrance?

Hi All
I purchased the OCEANS ebook about a year and half ago. I'm having several
interesting challenges.
It seems like there's a persistent sadness around my eye area. When I
soften that area, one of two things always seems to happen.
1. the energy softens, but the instant I ask where do you want to go, the
sadness comes back.(The feeling that is)
2. If I'm successful with soften the energy and it is allowed to spread to
where ever it wants to go, the results are ALWAYS temporary. A couple of hours
later its back.
 
I've treated this part as a fault line, with both the ghost hands, as well
as the "innocent energy."
What can I do?
