I came across an advice column in the newspaper earlier which suggested
that somone's symptoms were related to "pent up emotions".
It got me thinking how much easier and more helpful it is to think of
pent up energies instead.
Emotions, how do you deal with those? How do you release those? Pillow
biting? Floods of tears? Anger outbursts at the nearest and dearest?
Energies, now that's different. Easier. You can release pent up energies
in all kinds of ways. Sex, painting, going for a walk, throwing stones
in the sea.
Oh, and EmoTrance, of course.
But it makes it all so much less scary, and so much more AVAILABLE to
some form of release, don't you think?
