Hi Don,
One thing I have learned from studying Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent
Communication is that with anger there is often a "should" thought. In
other words, if you're angry, see if you can find a statement that
expresses the reason for the anger, and it will probably have should or
shouldn't in it. As in, my wife should not want so much of the property.

This is useful because from there, EFT alternating phrases (she should/she
shouldn't or standard EFT) or other techniques work well. Of course, you
have to be willing to let go of the anger, and if you've had it all your
life it's very possibly tied up with how you identify yourself as you.
Shifting to a new base is a process.

Reading Marshall's book (name is above) will give you additional and useful
insights into the nature of anger. Hope this helps.
