Class A drug addiction

I have asked on the MET list for anyone able to help a contact of mine
who has this addiction. I can see it is beyond my scope with EFT but a
question arises, Silvia.....

The reason I feel it is where I shouldn't go with EFT is because of the
likelihood of abreactions that I may not be experienced enough to deal
with. I don't particularly doubt my ability with EFT and ET to handle
abreactions but this comes from confidence not concrete experience of
serious abreaction. In a serious case like this I feel it is not fair to
the client to put him at any risk when there are people who know from
experience what to expect and how exactly to handle it.
But my question is .... does ET throw up abreactions? I have never
considered this before. And, where EFT is contra-indicated with things
like Bi-Polar because it causes excitation can ET be safely used there, too?

I ask because I would really like to invite this guy to my Life
Improvement classes where I feel he would definitely benefit but in the
classes the underpinning of any change suggested is the use of energy
therapies to clear blocks and clear stuff. I can't see how I can have
him use EFT on any issue at all cos it may well underpin his drug use
but ...how about ET. Could that be safely used, do you think?
