Many thanks for your extensive answer about why you call the process Snow
Globe. I get your point, the "problem" is that this metaphor is not working
in my language. We have also these small toy globes in the shops around
Christmas, and have had for many years. I can remember more handicrafted
globes from my childhood. Now there are only sloppy plastic versions, and I
do not even know what they are called in Swedish! I can not remember any
specific name. So until someone suggests a richer name in Swedish, I
continue with my Thought Balls, collecting results and perhaps reporting
again later.
