This would seem like a disempowering thought and it makes life much lighter and more doable if you take the belief that we are all one - we are not all alone, this idea of separateness is only an illusion created by fear.
If you do not currently hold this belief then you might like to read my previous post (previous by only a few minutes) in the intro and prosperity thread about believing impossible things before breakfast.

We each have an illusion of a 'separate' consciousness but I know for a fact there is another choice of consciousness, I have experienced it in one or two glorious moments. When you hold this understanding then of course nothing is beyond us, there is indeed nothing but us, there is only the one-ness which incorporates all that is, all that was and all that ever will be. As one we are power, we are creation.
Choose for one-ness, it works.
