I don't quite get the feel of something Doc Houston says;

"There is no victim or villan. it is a matter of perception"

Surely, if its all a matter of perception, then on the level where someone is hurting the hurt or whatever, is true even if it can be seen from another viewpoint. Does this pain automatically become invalidated(?) if we can find a perspective where it is less true(?)

Could you elaborate?
