Hi there, that's a good question and a good opportunity also for
me to explain how I understand it.

So we have an energy body with certain parts of it *seriously*
messed up if there were real big childhood problems, but also as
an effect afterwards - rape trauma, war trauma, childbirth,
bereavement, all sorts, both causing and compounding already
existing energetic injuries.

EmoTrance relies on *functioning channels* to move the energy.

You could widen this and say, *functioning systems* in general.

Hence the slogan in the book is "first healing, THEN trancing"
simply because when you have these "Dresden after the bombing"
disaster areas in your energy system, of course all the flow will
be painful, possibly perverted into the wrong channels, output
similarly disturbed and no Even Flow could possibly be expected.

These large, seriously disturbed systems are not healable by EFT
in my opinion simply because they are too complex, too
multidimensional. *Aspects* of them can be put right but there are
way, way too many to make headway with a big disturbed system fast
enough for my liking, and also, as fast as it *can* be done.

EFT is very very good for *specifics* but when faced with
something such as a whole childhood full of abuse with the
requisite n-amount of aspects, it is just overwhelming.

So what I've done is to consider what the most important parts of
the energy system are, which, if they were to be restored to
better functioning, would have the most noticeable knock on effect
on the rest of the totality, and where I am with this now is to
get the base triangle of thought-soul-heart back into some form of
operation.

The heart system is the key and core in my opinion as it sets
thought by definition, and state. The reason that we're miserable
and seeking healing and resolution is state; the heart system set
state, so basically, heal the heart and the rest will follow.

Everyone has healing hands and healing intentions. It might not be
much but every *little bit* of the heart's systems restored
produces really noticeable knock-on effects in state and thought
and general well being.

I'd even propose that *all* the the major painful emotions from
rage to the most terrible sadness as well as fear (including fear
of death et al) are ALL heart generated "cry for help" feedback
devices.

When the heart is treated, the nuclear reactor of our energy
systems, those will cease *structurally* and the hows and whys and
wherefores and why me's and why did or didn't they ALL become
immaterial in an instance.

A long time ago I made the comment to someone in passing that in
trying to do something with emotions we have a situation where
there is a client screaming on the couch and the therapist jumping
all around with a butterfly net, trying to catch the screams.

This may possibly also apply to ourselves. The client needs the
attention, in this simile, the heart directly needs the healing
and then the screaming will simply stop.

So, and I don't know if I posted this here or where, I wrote a
little "poem" which is actually more like a "prayer prescription
for healing" to convey the attitude and actions required to set
this in motion. It had very profound effects on me personally and
you could say it achieved a lot more than EITHER four years of
constant EFT OR a year of constant EmoTrance for "the screams" as
and when they occurred.

I'll append the poem.

That's an ongoing exercise regardless of external circumstances or
what happens in your life, or how anyone still flounders with
their half repaired systems *at this time*.

In the meantime, we ALSO use everything else that can help us
through and aid the healing process, without prejudice and simply
because it is useful to do this. I don't know how long it takes
before our respective hearts have been healed enough to make a
really noticeable, breakthrough shift and difference.

In the meantime, if you're freaking out, tap. Or TAT. Or use ET.
Or a combination of all of it. Take an aspirin if you need one. Be
nice to yourself. Be sensible in what you put your body through,
and when you want to tap on something, absolutely go for it. I
certainly do. I have nothing to prove to anyone only a will
towards Even Flow, growing stronger every day.

I don't think that you need to do years of EFT before you can
begin to use ET or start healing your heart as described below.
This is not an either or situation but a multi-level event (this
meaning a human being with all their complexities) and all these
things work together in my opinion under the simple will towards
Even Flow.

Hope that made some sense,

Silvia

PS. The poem *is* a *direct* instruction set. You may be more
accustomed to seeing bullet points in "techniques" and lots of
convoluted writing as above, but all the information to make this
"technique" work is in the poem - they are such nice neat
energetic information packages compared with a "how to"! It is a
workable prescription so you can do this at any time your heart is
hurting and all you need with your body is to touch your heart and
with your head, the will to heal - "All I have to give, I give to
you."

Heart Healing

Place your own
healing hands
on your own
broken heart
with the gentleness
and with exquisite care
the care
you would afford
a tiny frozen bird
you found
there on your doorstep.

With your gentle
healing hands
speak in your touch
of warmth and love
of your desire
to make whole
what once was broken,
of your desire and your will
to right what once was wronged.

Whisper softly,
I will do
what I can
for you,
my little love.

Fear not.

I am here for you.

For sure, I am no angel
but what I have to give,
I give to you.
