Carole,

I wouldn't want to go through suffering (beatings/stoning's/narrow
escapes/being bitten by piousness snakes/left for dead/ imprisoned, etc) he
went through to get to the state above. And yet when you take away all the
religious-made up teachings that have come from his writings and look at
what he really wrote you may find more spirituality and metaphysics than
most other people you might read.

We have tools available today that when properly used you may not desire to
be like Paul but you probably will be misunderstood just as he was which
would make you like Paul.

Example's:
Early in his life as a Christian in the 1st letter he ever wrote he said
and I'll paraphrase, "That which I don't want to do I do and that which I
want to do I don't. (Conscious-Unconscious/miscommunication-energy
blockages/thought-forms not handed over)

After all the suffering mentioned above:

Later in his life the 2nd to the last letter he ever wrote he wrote the
above. (The other side of the coin-Conscious-Unconscious
communications/energy flow/thought-forms handed over to higher energy system)

Here are a couple of Paul's most valuable offerings that have been largely
over looked.

1) Paul was an "Innest" just like Jesus. Jesus said, "It ain't me doing all
this stuff, it's the Father (Spirit/Energy) within me." He also said, "When
I'm gone me and my Father will come and live inside of you (Holy Spirit-the
indwelling word)." If you don't go within you go without or like my Grampa
Vetter would say, "The only way out is -IN!"

Paul said, "It's Christ (Spirit/energy) in me/you the hope of glory."

2) One of the biggest statements overlooked is in Corinthians where he
said, "It's the letter of the law that killeth, but the spirit (of the law)
that gives life."

Ever since religions started to organize they used and taught the letter of
the law and not the spirit. That's the Paul you were taught not the real
one. Remember words are anchors for experiences, they are not the
experience, they are 3-4 steps away for "Actuality" what some call ultimate
reality.

If you really deeply look at what Paul was saying, as you forget about what
you were taught he said, when taken in context he was one of the most
enlightening mofo's you can find. He taught the law of allowing, the law of
manifestation and most of what other enlighten teachers teach.

What most people do is read it from the frames set by religious leaders and
so people get the frames/beliefs from others-they were not Paul's.

And yet when you or I do become enlightened we will be misunderstood just
as Paul was.

Think about Paul wasn't a full time Christian or
evangelist/Prophet/Healer/Apostle.
He wasn't even a part-time (all of the above)
He was a spare time (all of the above)

He was a full time tent maker.
He did what he did in his spare time and because of his spare time hobby he
received and got everything in my 1st paragraph.

I guess this points back to what Silvia asked, "TO be enlightened would you
be willing to... if not then what?
