I suspect we won't know until we get there and that the horse and cart may
(or may not) turn out to be in a surprising order. We won't be able to make
enlightenment happen by 'giving up' the things we now love, though that may
be what we choose to do in the end when our perspective has changed so
radically. And the radical change of perspective may include checking our
current 'attachments' against our aspirations and making some (now
difficult, then, who knows) choices.

Speculatively,
Susan

I'm inclined to agree with this. Maybe its about examining the nature of all
of these relationships and attachments and creating flow where there is
blockage. The idea of giving up the relationships would show where the work
is to be done !! Once flow is acheived, the nature of the relationships
would be freer, with non-attachment and love on the enlightened person's
side. Why is 'removing oneself' from those people/energy sources then
neccessary? Would that not be unneccesary avoidance of certain energies? The
challenge may more likely be on the side of the non-enlightened circle, who
then start finding some new blocks to workthrough and release!!

Just my thoughts, as I havent chipped in for awhile !

Sandra
